Starting to play with objects and perspective began in early childhood, though without a camera. With one eye squinted, I moved close to objects and moved my head to create a "flight path." These unusual perspective games were the forerunners of the later burgeoning passion for "single-frame filmmaking," which really began in 2007, initially just to capture my impressions of space and time and to archive memories. However, more and more and with increasing purpose, I leaned back on the eye exercises from childhood and thus formed what is now called Hyperlapse.
